Hi, my name's Joseph Connolly and I'm a Maryland-based photographer. I've been interested in photography for most of my life but started getting into it professionally in 2014. I believe that a photo is one of the best ways to convey an emotion or an idea. So, in a way, every photo I take is an extension of myself. Among other interests, such as being a music producer, graphic designer and skateboarder, I've taken a particular interest in nature, portrait, abstract and minimalist photography. 

All images featured on this website have been shot by me, Joseph Connolly, and therefore I would ask you to abstain from using them without my explicit permission. Although these photos are mine, the ideas and inspiration that fueled my passion for photography are the culmination of the combined works of the thousands of photographers around the world that share their work every day. I give my utmost respect and thanks to these people, through them I can experience the whole world.
